		<description>Allan was my greatest supporter.  When I did not think I could get into a graduate program, he knew I could do it.  When I left the program, he was there for me as well. 

Even after my graduation in 2002, I still maintained contact with Allan--emailing 2 times per a year.  He talked me as a fellow academic even though I never published a book or even a paper.  He talked to me as the grandfather that I never had when I had no confidence.  I wish I could have told Allan that I love him not as an academic but as a human being.  He was the example of how an academic superstar can be a real person.  He is now in peace.</description>
